Clutch engaged?
Hey guys question...Today I was driving my car. I started out in first, let the rpms get up to about 6 then shifted to second...BUUUTTT it felt like I missed the gear, I took it back out and still nothing.
So what I am saying is that my car will now not pull. It goes into each gear but its like the clutch is always engaged. Like I am constantly holding the clutch in. Now I checked the cable and its working properly. There is no grinding noises or anything...its just like the clutch will not disengage. So my question is....is the clutch out? What is my problem here guys? Thanks in advance!

Clutch engaged is when your foot is OFF the pedal. When you push the clutch pedal in, you are DISENGAGING the clutch.
So which is it? Can you just sit there and put it in gear while the car is running and it doesn't do anything? If so, then the clutch is probably toast. Happened to my brother's del Sol like 2 hours after he bought it.
