you dont ground any wire. there is a small blue connector behind the center console near the bottom. (maybe some one will post a pic) that you just jump with a wire. then you turn on your ignition and count the number of times the check ungine light flashes

nope that doesnt work..the only light that flashes is my 4ws light. The shop I took it to grounded a wire to get the cel code. it was on the ecu though. I just dont know what wire, and I cant take the car there cuz it wont make it.

Find your ECU (behnd the passenger side kick panel. Look for a green connector looking thing (it's green in the civics, not sure about the ludes). Take a paperclip and short out the 2 connection points on that plug. Do this with the car OFF! Once you have the paperclip in, turn the car on and watch the CEL. long blinks mean 10's, and short blinks are one's. For example you'll get 2 long blinks, a break and then 7 short blinks. Tells you that you have error code 27. Easy as cake.

Just turn the Key to the on position before it starts.

wow. I see you searched, but you picked the wrong one man, this is years old. The information is under "CEL" in prelude archives, I'll give you a link or two:

the short answer to your question is no. It is blue. and it will have nothing in it.
