Default jumping service connector in integras. (to get ECU code)

curious on where the wire leads to. i wanna see if i have a short in the wire somwhere.. cuz i have a check engine light, no flash, just constant light. i doubt its ECU failure. so i just wanna see where the wire leads to so check to see if its damaged. there is a black and brown wire. im guessing the black is ground??

So when you jump it and turn the engine on the light stays constant?

That means bad ECU I hope not.

so you jumped it first right? cuz ive never seen that before. and after you jump it it still stays on constant? try starting the car and then jumping it.

Maybe this is what you want???

The black wire goes to ground.
The brown/white-stripe wire goes to pin D4 on the ECU.
So if your wiring is screwed up, you can ground pin D4 on the ECU harness to do the same thing.
