You'd be surprised... multiple studies have been conducted that illustrate just how indifferent people can be =\ The most notable one i believe was done in new york, where a guy dragged a girl through the streets while the girl kept yelling out 'You're not my dad!" They passed by at least a hundred people before a taxi driver and a couple guys on the street stopped the man (the police were already assigned to the matter and cleared up the fact it was part of a study). When they questioned the hundred or so people who had walked by doing nothing, they got answers like 'I did not want to get involved'
Then again... Go out to somewhere like michigan, and people are lining up to fix your flat tire for you.

I just saw a chick squid with a big rack go by on a "gixxer" in a tank top, jeans, and a helmet.
Poor chick doesn't know she's gonna lose all her good looks and has to rely on her brains to get by in the world....oh wait she can't because if she had brains she'd wear some more gear. Dumbass.

i think id leave that guy seriously hurting if i saw that happening in vietnam.
Nothing justifies hitting a girl. Unless theyre tryin to kill you or somethin but thats a different story

i know, this country (or at least my part) has gotten so sick, a lady at work was telling me today shes twice seen men wipe their motorcycles, and at least 10 cars go by before someone stops to at least see if hes alive. (although both times were at >15 mph)
anyway... that chick on the gixxer can do anything she wants... anything.

Thats just wrong
Thats just wrong

Guy's we have had 6 motorcycle fatalities and over a dozen accidents this weekend. Its been hell. A lot of new riders out there. This was taken at a popular spot in the mountains.
I ride in jeans a lot for commuting but I am not wearing them in the mountains anymore. I'm riding faster as my skills improve and I hit some gravel in a turn and had a nice front tire slide and nearly **** myself. Luckily I only slid a few feet before regaining traction. Would have sucked if I dropped it with just jeans on.
lack of education/awareness
until people start getting eaten by the sausage creature. http://www.latexnet.org/~csmith/sausage.html
then most of them quit riding after seeing the consequences.

Indeed, if they at least took the MSF they would at least be wearing pants/long sleeves/boots/gloves
But instead of that, their squidly friends teach them to ride in parking lots on their brand new 600
I see it around here sometimes with all these vacant parking lots

irresponsible: letting the girl you love, or any girl for that matter, ride on the back without gear.
not worth risking someone else's skin IMO no matter how hot she is. won't be hot after hitting the pavement at 50 mph

i <3 the panorama shot of the squidliness. what is that, SC mountains?
i haven't been up the crest in a few months now, but that's what the shell station looks like in the summer past 10am. the squids shake off the hangover, throw on a t-shirt, and head up to the canyons (???).

)
and sometimes for 'a quick run to the store' or 100+ temps, it seems like overkill to some people. not to make it sound like its an okay thing to do, but i think its more common than it seems
