not to start a flame war on this but in lots of the canyon pics i see people are kneedragging or at least trying to. i dont know if they are public roads or not b/c i dont live there. comments people leave for those pics are usually positive. (this is just what i have noticed). if it was a pic of someone stunting i have noticed the comments are less favorable. also wearing full gear does not make it any safer.

They do affect us because they and their antics cause insurance premiums to be higher for riders and they also make us all look bad, which results in the cops harrassing us and the non-riding public to support laws that are biased against us.

where i live insurance is higher b/c there is a lot of theft. they prob dont help the situation any but insurance comps see bikes as being dangerous regardless so prices would be higher. i agree with you on the cop issue. they do affect us with that. in the car world its the same thing.

What I dont get is why 80% of squids ride gixxers. I currently own a fzr600 and really want a k7 gixx6. I like the riding position, but i guess I'll be labeled a squid in gear.
Another point that I have is that all of the people I know that have died on a SS bikes were riding gixxers.

I'd be willing to bet that almost all of the people who actually are 'squids, don't carry insurance anyways, which means that it isn't costing the insurance companies any money. that would mean that there is no reason for premiums to go up. tards.
