DOHC ZC PM6 ECU Code 3 - WTF?
positive. I got lucky & called a guy I know that owns a performance shop & he has a couple of used ones laying around- he said I can have one for $20. The dealership & Autozone both want $300 for one- F that
the pm6 is for the d16a6 single cam, im wondering if the program writing is different on that than the pm7 which i believe is the dohc ecu. I was always curious on the programs, i know you can run the pm7 on a single cam to give it more ignition and fuel for better performance, but i wonder if the pm6 works the exact opposite on the dohc zc. I dunno

Yes, in a sense. The DOHC ZC will not perform to it's fullest potential running the PM6, but it is still a fine ECU to use to run the motor- just at a performance loss. I would love to run a PM7 or a PG7, but they are hard to come by locally & every time I have had money lately something else was more important. Oh well, I'll be trying my hand at Ghettodyne soon, that way the PM6 will be able to run a ZC program & I'll be able to retune when needed.

Yeah same here all the Integras at the yards are raped of their ECUs. And I'm not paying $60 for that **** on ebay when I could find one at the yard for $20. I just have to get it when the car is fresh.
