Civic CV joints and axles???
Okay, just before I go, I want to make sure I buy the right parts.
Car makes clicking sound when I go left, someone told me that it is the right CV joint. I have a 91 Civic DX, is that 23 or 26 splines????
Second, should I buy the CV boot or the entire right axle?

eah usually when it clicks its the opposite of what direction your turning from. incpect the axles and boots tho. just but a new axle. you can regrease joint and put new boot on but thats a short term solution. and i thought a 90 dx has 21 splines. check it out on carparts.com to make sure

Just buy a new axle. If the joint is clicking then most likely it is already on it's way out.

get the whole axle. hell do both that way you dont have anymore axle problems. I know RAXLES.com used to give crxr's a discount on stock axles I think they were $110 for each side. But install is simple do it yourself

Civic STD and CRX HF got the 23 spline (puny) axles. Take your old axle with you to Autozone and match them up. Also saves a trip to return the core.
BTW if you can afford it, buy both axles.
