OK so my main relay is just buzzing, and yes i searched but out of the 9 that come up they all say to check your thermostat ground and i guess that fixed everyones problem cuz no one said nothing else in those threads,,,but anyways i have my thermostat ground and it is still buzzing, i even tried directly grounding it cut the black wire and grounded it, still buzzed. i went out to my 92 DA took off that main relay and it still buzzing, my fuel pump is not priming also..i need HELP ASAP...

im kind of in the same situation as you. replaced main relay, still no fuel pump, ive never heard about doing anyting to the thermostat ground wires to fix it check out my post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1530227

Check your two grounds underneath your dash on the driver side. If you are 100 percent positive the ground at the thermostat housing is secure.

thermostat ground should be right around your thermostat 2 wires...unless u got a wire tuck ull probably have to extend it

bump...still pissed not working...does the VTM need to be hooke dup on the VAFC becuase this only started once i hooked up the VAFC and im wondering if that is not supposed to be hooked up on these EF's (i got 89 DX HB)

c'mon seriously someone its been weeks and i cant get it started im so pissed....i had it running a few weeks ago, i hooked up a O2 sensor and the VAFC and it just started clickin someone please help i need this thing running

Make sure the ground wires aren't ate up with corrosion. Sometimes it's hard to see so look close. The buzzing sounds like a low battery. The car does crank, just not start, right?

maybe replace the relay? I dunno i have this same problem and i am going to change out my main relay with one of the extras i have sitting around. I will let you know. But it might be your fuel pump? Cause mine does this maybe once a week... i will keep you posted
oh and are you throwing any codes at all?

well i did replace relay with a DA one i got here same thing and i ran a wire direct from battery to fuel pump and it turned on?? what are the chances that both relays are bad, lol and i soldered the regular one on some of the joints that looked bad and still same thing, im so stumped

LS/VTEC motor dpfi-mpfi, obd0-obd1, and installed a 00si cluster and VAFC the thing is i had it running like 2 weeks ago, i finished wiring up the cluster and O2 sensor and VAFC and it started doin it didnt do it before that though

i solder just bout every connection ive mad in the car...its so wierd seiriously...none of those wires that have to do with the VAFC or O2 sensor could possibly affect it??
