Weird Starting Problems...92 DA Help!
My friend has a 92 Integra that I'm currently working on. Its bone stock and very well taken care of. The car will start sometimes and other times it will just crank over.
Starter is fine, its getting spark but the fuel pump doesn't prime when you turn the car to the "on" position. Like I said it only does this sometimes. Main Relay has been replaced. All fuses checked and ok. When I put my test light on the yellow wire going to the main relay the pumped primed immediately and worked fine for a while but now its at it again.
I checked the grounds in the engine bay and all seem to be fine. I think the ground going to the main relay is bad. Where does the main relay ground at? Can I run a new ground to it? Also is there a ground back at the fuel pump that I should check out?
Someone told me that the ECU switches the ground for the main relay to send power to the fuel pump is this correct? If so does that mean his ECU is going bad?
Please help ASAP!

Fuel pump primes when yellow wire going into the main relay is grounded with a test light. Car starts right up afterwards and runs fine.

check your ground connections, and sand down the the contact points on the chassis. if the car is getting bad ground, thats the place to start. Also, it would be the early signs of a bad sending unit. when you turn the key, does the pump click, and stop? or no sound at all?
