Wont Start...
Ok before the flaming starts, I searched but my internet wont complete a search.
I have a 92' Civic Si Hatchback. Every few weeks this problem will occur. When I go to turn on the key.. it just makes this clicking sound. The fan will turn on. I know my battery isnt dead. The car just wont start.
This problem comes and go every few weeks. Usually I just get 2-3 friends to help me jump start it. Then the problem goes away. I think its a loose wire somewhere.
Any / All Imputs Are Welcome
Thanks In Advance

It could be a number of things. When you first turn the key to the on poss do you hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds then stop? This will only happen when you first try to start the car. then you will need to sit for a few min before the pump will prim again. If the pump primes and car doesn't start then I would look into the wiring to the starter/or the starter its self. How did you rule out the battery as not being the problem? You said the car will bump start every time ?

Bad ground somewhere. Check them all and then check again. Something is loose somewhere.
Take the terminals off of you battery and sand them down with sand paper. Even though there is no gunk there, there can still be a film preventing from real contact.

Re: Wont Start... (Dunn@ITS)
so you think its just a bad ground somewhere? Like I said.. when i try to start it.. it makes this quick click / tick like 5-10 times.

Ok.. well I cleaned all my grounds and the battery terminals.. tried to start it.. nothing.. came inside.. watched my hands, got changed. On my way out I figured Id try to start it again. Started right up. I shut it off and started it a few times just to make sure it wasnt a fluke. either way, thanks for the help h-t
