Default Car starts when it wants to?

Its a 1994 Civic d15b with a vtec head. The car starts when it wants to. Like when I turn the key to start it, it doesn't start until I keep turning it to start really fast like 10 times then it would start up. What could be the problem and where should I look?

When I turn the key on, I can here the fuel pump switching on. Then I would turn the key to start it up and nothing happens, so I have to keep flipping it from the "ON" position to the "START" position really quick then finally it would start up. Could it be something with the ignition switch? Loose wire? Maybe a single wire I can test with a multimeter?

Yes, as far as I can tell. Everything works on the car except the stated problem but should there be a specific ground I should look for?

does it do nothing when you try to start? probably your clutch relay switch.. assuming its a stick. kinda didnt give much info. you can jump it with a paperclip to test..just search it.

^^ you have the thermostat housing.. frame to tranny.. and core support to VC.. also check the battery terminals.. make sure they are clean and tight.

Clean your grounds and check to make sure your starter ground is properly connected and not hanging loose. If those are good you can try changing out your main relay.
