whats the requirements for a swap?
I'm heavily leaning toward a transmission swap. I recently bought a 96 civic dx, which is a automatic and I want a manual tranny, but buying another car is not an option so as I see it. So what do I need to complete a auto to a manual swap? Mine is a stock d series car.
I'll probably get flamed but as long someone answers my question I dont car.

Re: whats the requirements for a swap? (CivicTooner)
You need this kit right here.
If you don't buy that or that conversion kit you're looking at...:
manual ECU
shift linkage
shifter + boot
manual transmission from a D series motor
clutch pedal or pedal assembly
clutch linkage/hoses/whateverthefuck you wanna call them w/ cylinder and stuff still attached
I do believe that's all, if I missed anything click here to check the complete list...if you catch my drift....

With how much time you wasted inserting all those links you could have posted the link to ONE of the many auto to manual threads and then just told him to search next time. Then you would have been within the rules.
