94 civic ex auto to b16 manual swap help...
I have decided that I definately need a swap and am pretty much set on a b16 engine. I currently have a 1994 civic ex with an automatic transmission and from driving other peoples manual transmission cars, I definately want a manual transmission. Am I just better off having fun with the auto transmission for now and doing a complete swap with the b16 engine when I get the money or should I do a transmission swap now on the stock engine? I'm guessing complete swap but will it cost me more to do the engine swap for my car and the transmission swap too, meaning shift **** installation, 3rd petal, etc? If anyone has ever done a complete b-series engine swap on an automatic to a manual, can you tell me how much it costs, what extra parts I have to get besides the engine, and what I should look out for. I don't know alot about doing this swap so anything will help.

well, you've got a d16z6, correct? In order to put a manual tranny on, you'd have to get a d series manual tranny... Making the b series swap kinda dumb I would think. I would just save up all at once for it and shove the car in the garage for a month
B series will bolt up to any B series, and D series wil bolt up to any D series, but NOT B to D or D to B... good luck
