it is apart of the emissions equipment- i forget exactly what it is but i want to say evap purge. That is a jdm b16 using your stock engine harness?

It looks like the purge solenoid connector for a USDM engine. The JDM B16A does not have one (if that's the motor you've got there). Don't worry, the JDM ECU will not look for it and it will run fine. I had the same question when I did mine.

O2 plug is not shaped like that and has longer wires.

Knock sensor has a different connector. Notice how your EVAP canister has one vac line unconnected? It would go to the Purge Solenoid on your old motor and your JDM motor does not have one. It will run fine without the Purge Solenoid and the unconnected vac line (just plug it at the canister) and it also will not set off a CEL.

hmmmm.... i have a 2000 Si head on my LS/vtec and thats hole on the manifold for that sensor is blocks off. so my sensor is just dangling around. doesnt affect my cars performance though. but mine does plug in to my harness though.
