WHat do you guys think about a b16a motor swap in a ek????? i dont have much money but i wanna go fast wat do you guys think i should do?

i seen a couple b16a and there pretty fast and i just wanted to know is it worth building a b16 to hit 13s in a ek

If you have to ask, most likely you don't know how to drive. Here's an idea, get the motor in your car, and then take your car to the track. Time slips depend on the driver, motor (not every motor is the same, especially used), tires, weather, track, etc..

If you plan on racing I would build a B20 (with a bored over B18C1 block) and in the end it will be cheaper than running through the motions of buying a B16...buying a B18C1 bottom end....and going from there.
Initialy if you had to go B16....you could always upgrade the block later...but I would fork over the cash until it was something you know you wanted....B16 in an EK......13's.......your gonna need 165+whp and traction....and practice.

Drive an Si to get a feel for the power of a B16. I would go for the swap, and may do so in my del Sol. Also, if you go forced induction, 13s shouldn't be a problem with slicks and some practice.
