Default '99 EK engine swap ( B16A or B16C )

I am wondering if it is worth to swap my '99 EK with ( B16 C type-R Civic ) or just simply with the most popular B16A....... Moneywise, the B16C cost double of the B16A..... Any suggestion????

first the CTR motor is a B16B the B16A has a 170hp/113tq whereas the B16B has 185hp/117tq. both share the same transmission minus LSD, so the B16B is a factory tuned B16A obviously with different cams etc.... just buy a B16A and tune it to your likings

Ever consider b18b/c? B18b cheaper and more torque than both. no replacement for displacement. Otherwise, i agree with b16a and build. Although you can get some bragging rights for having a CTR.

you;re actually disagreeing with him, he said get a B16A and build it

imo i'd say go for the A, it's cheaper and like negtegra said you can tune it how you like
