What dizzy do I need?
So I'm in the process of getting a new dizzy because mine is about to give out so I'm wondering what dizzy will fit my 92 jdm b16a that's obd2?

obd2 gsr
obd2 b16
can also use a obd1 with a conversion harness.
obd1= 2 plugs
obd2= 1 plug
And what makes you know your dist is about to go out? Have you had the coil or icm or anything like that test with a voltmeter? Prob just a weak link inside your current one. Might not need to replace as a whole.

Re: What dizzy do I need?
I had the problem with my car turning off while I was driving and the other day it would just crank over but not start had fuel but no spark so we took the dizzy to check it out and once we put back the dizzy on the car started right back up but still continues to cut off and turn off while driving. What do you think can be causing this? Coil or icm?

i never have had to buy distributors..(please stop with the dizzy slang, we're on honda-tech, not on the corner sellin work)
just fix whats wrong with it... i keep several ICM and coils and pick ups just incase something like this happened to me.

should change the name of this site to urbanhonda-tech.com
refer to it as a dist or distributor...not the snoop doggy dizzle language snoop established years ago lol

Re: What dizzy do I need?
sounds like a ICM for both of you. could be a bad connection like jug said...coils either work or dont so you can rule that out pretty much.
