obd2 dizzy in obd1 car?

Default obd2 dizzy in obd1 car?

ok so doing a GSR swap into a 92 CX hatch...or atleast acquiring the parts and realized that i have an odb2 dizzy...its going into an obd1 car...i know i can use a conversion harness for the dizzy but will it work with the crank sensor or is there something else i need to do?

I'm using an obd2 dizzy with my obd1 setup also. Once you get a conversion harness or just wire up the correct plug it works with no other issues.

I personally did it by cutting the 2 obd1 plugs off the engine harness and wiring on the obd2 plug since I had a junk harness laying around.

yes. as he said. you will have no problem. just decide how you want to wire it up and what plugs you are going to use and you'll be fine.
