What could cause timing marks the be misalined

What could cause timing marks the be misalined
I tried to set my timing agian because I left dis. bolt finger tight and they came looose. (I know I'm stupid)
But now I tring to return to stock setting and when I move the dis. counter clockwise. Thier is no more room to turn it and it's no even at the first mark but it's past the white mark 0 TDC.

your timing belt could have jump a tooth. then if the cam gears are out of line with the crank you tdc will be messed up.
my friend that has a type-r miss shifted and his belt jumped 2 teeth and sent his valves into the pistons are bent/ warped everyone of them.
so check that. it was just a thought.

Uh.. I think you set it between the 2 marks to the red mark dont you? and did you jumper the ECU?

Yes I did everything I was suppose to do. But I have a bad IAC valve it threw a code when I driving. And I jumped that blue connector and got a code 14. Will the not let me set timing.
