Default WHAT THE HECK? a 4th timing Mark????

i just redid the timing belt on my b18a and since its boosted, I'm not sure if i should just set the timing according to the book or what? on the pully there is the "3 slash" and a "single slash" which one should i set it too ? Need help asap. eager to taker her for a spin.. or spin the tires. which ever comes first

the middle of the 3 slashes. the one slash that stands alone is TDC. then there's 14,16, and 18 degrees.

cool. thats nice and easy. so set it on the middle slash then. is it super important to get it right on? i guess performance wise whats the best?

take the pulley off and remove the lower timing belt cover and set the timing to the mark on the oil pump...at least that is how I have always done timing belts

I think hes talking about ignition timing, I hope anyway. for ignition its the middle mark, cam timing would be the white one by itself.

The line by itself is for setting cam timing, the 3 line together are for ignition timing when using a timing light

I use a timing light that lets you set the advance you desire, and align to TDC mark Easier than guessing on any car!
