i know this has probrably been covered, but i cant seem to find any answers in the search. i have a b16a1 with an a2 intake and distributor etc. i am currently using my ls computer (obd1) and my vafc (it was ls turbo'd but ls took a ****) with the ls computer it is dirt slow (timing curves different?) i know the rev limit is way low etc. i am trying to find an ecu. but salvage yards around here have nothing in dohc form in the 1.6's that is obd1. if someone has any answers or has a good ecu (that they can guarantee not to be doa ) please email me. i am in desperate need of a faster car!

ok,. i have a 92 civic lx. it had an obd2 ls swap so i am currently using its wiring harness and an obd1 ls ecu wirth a vtec computer.. the ls computer just doesnt cut it. i have all a2 si parts on the engine and have ran the extra wires to run to a vtec computer,... now i just need to find an ecu that will work anddo what i need. what is the difference with an ls computers timing and fuel maps anyways? i am running a turbo but have the wastegate set real low because it doesnt feel safe (doesnt ping or anything, just slow) also the vtec changeover seems like it gets quieter? whys that? cause of the ecu?

what about the boost chips that are out there,.. like the uber chip,.. seem to work well,..
what you guys think about them?
