What Chip Map Settings is best for P28 SOHC VTEC?
What do you all think is best for a D16z6 and P28 ECU?
I need a new chip so help me choose, since you H-T guys had more experience.
I have all the bolt-ons you can imagine....from CAI to Catback...etc...
And it's a All Motor setup..

first off... what kind of mods do you have? i/h/e is not necessary, but strongly strongly recommended before you start tuning/modifying the ecu.

You dont need one of these chips because they change your settings for real race applications. Once you get a cam or pistons or build the head/block/both then look into a chip. Until then you have no reason to.
When you do build i would go with Skunk2 (but that is better with Skunk2 parts of course)

:: P08/P28/P71/P91 : 92-5 Civic Si/EX/VTi (D16Z6/JDM D15B SOHC VTEC)
XS program
VTEC: 5000rpm
Rev limit: 8500rpm
Dyno/Tests: Street Program, good power, 2-6whp improvements after VTEC, works only on the USDM P28 ECU.
GUDE program
VTEC: 4900rpm
Rev limit: 7900rpm
Dyno/Tests: Street Program, good power, runs rather on rich side, good for bolt on and a mild cam. For USDM P28 only.
Spoon program
VTEC: 4600rpm
Rev limit: 7800rpm
Dyno/Tests: Very streetable program. Makes excellent power through out. Little on the richer side while idling and cruising.
RPT program
VTEC: 4200 or 4800rpm
Rev limit: 7800 or 9000rpm
Dyno/Tests: One of the better SOHC VTEC programs. Excellent power after VTEC, good for the Zex cam upgrade. Low-end seems to suffer a little but low VTEC and after VTEC power makes it up. For D15B SOHC VTEC only.
Prospeed program
VTEC: 4400rpm or 4800rpm
Rev limit: 7600 or 8700rpm
Dyno/Tests: Runs farily rich, seems to make excellent power. Gas mileage is less then average for race/street program. Made most power on D16Z6 with bolt-ons. 4-6whp through out and 5-7lbs of torque.
edit: it looks as if the programs you listed above as selections may be for dohc vtec setups?

I've heard nothing but good things about Kenji's programs. Do a search on his name you'll find some info

The Skunk program has way too much fuel for a Z6. I recommend a custom tune for your setup with a freeware editor like Crome or Uberdata.
