Default upgraded injectors and adding FMU need help

ALright i am adding new injectors, FMU and a fuel pump I can do the Fuel pump myself its just plug and play, but the injectors I have a resistor Pack that came with them, the shop told me i had to splice the wires on them to make it work and not fry the eCU, they never showed me or told me how to splice the wires so thats why I am here.. Im pretty confused.. Also not sure how to instal the FMU either. car is a 95 civic d15block d16vtech head

I HOPE you are installing a turbo. If you are the drop that crappy FMU and get a chipped ECU and have it tuned properly. Don't cheap out. As for resistor box wiring there quite a few write ups on how that is accomplished. Probably some old threads about how to install an FMU although I can't see how hard that would be. There's a guy in the Marketplace that sells then already wired.

Sounds like you're in over your head. Search and research the Forced Induction forum before taking one more step.

You should have just added this to your other thread.
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/95-civic-dx-turbo-2887303/

If you put an FMU on that setup you should be shot.

you wont need the fmu if you're getting it tuned with injectors and a pump.

i hope thats not the shop that is doing the tuning.

to properly tune a turbo setup you need to have the ecu chipped and tuned with hondata, neptune, or similar. skip the fmu and do the pump and injectors. also, be aware that if you add injectors without a proper basemap/tune the car will not run properly. a stock ecu will run way too rich with the bigger injectors.

are you chipping it or buying a tuning program?(ie crome, neptuen, ectune, hondata) idk about anyone else but to me they are not the same thing.

i would get it tuned elsewhere. your going to a place that tells you to buy things that are completely unneeded for what your doing. so you wasted money for nothing cuz of them and your going to go back?

well if the shop is chipping the ecu then they should know that an FMU is not needed. are you sure they didnt sell you a fuel pressure regulator (fpr). they are similar but perform different functions. an FMU is NOT needed when using a chipped ecu.

technically speaking they are different but you need to "chip" the ecu before you can even use a tuning program. if they are just adding a pre-made map then I would not consider it tuning

FMU is useless. If its getting chipped and tuned (and btw P06 doesnt run VTEC without modification, so make sure they are doing that too). if they said FPR it would make more sense.

yeah, they are setting up the vtec also, im gonna check out another shop before I go back to them, Im not sure y they would give me the FMU, its not a FPR it would be smaller and go on the Fuel rail this thing is pretty massive compared to the FPR.

just got the Exhaust on 2.5 all the way back sounds pretty good with just a cat on it
