Under Hood Light
How hard would it be to wire in a light to go under my hood, even with something as simple as having a switch that I could flip my self to turn it on....i just hate not having a light under there

It wouldnt be that hard. Its just like wiring those windshield sprayers to the hood. Just wire ground and power to a switch but just gotta find the light first.
sorry if that doesnt help!

Re: Under Hood Light (VTEC KILLA)
just go to a junk yard, and get a hood light off of some domestic POS taht has the mercury switch in it, then you can just run a hot wire from the battery and a ground wire. That will save you from having to mess with a switch, and as soon as you open the hood, the the light will come on...

Re: Under Hood Light (fifthgearonline)
all you need is a fused power to the battery (fused for safety) and a ground and a 12V light.. just buy an alarm hood pin switch for like 50 cents.. and your set.. when you open your hood the light goes on.. when its closed it goes off...
you might also want to add a switch so you can selectively have it off.. so that when you have your hood popped open to maybe change the oil.. you dont drain your battery..
