A friend of mine and I are installing a keyless entry device into my 2000 Integra GS-R. While doing so we came to a problem that we can't figure out. In the wiring instructions it says:

1. Brown Wire: (-) DOME LIGHT OUTPUT: Connects to Dome light activation circuit for Negative dome light systems.

Now exactly what do i connect this wire to? What does it look like and where is it?

2. White Wire: +12V FLASHING PARKING LIGHT OUTPUT: Connect to switched parking light wire at back of light switch. If this is not possible connect directly to one of the parking lights at the front of the vechile.

I'm lost with this one.

If anyone can help me out with this then i would really really appreciate it because we've been working on this for quite some time now. Thanks

Brown Wire: (-) DOME LIGHT OUTPUT: This wire will connect to a switch to ground wire via the door switches that activate the dome light.. meaning the dome light gets the negative signal from a door switch to activate the light.. hook up this wire to the nearest door switch negative wire, this is used to activate the dome light when the keyless entry system is activated..

2. White Wire: +12V FLASHING PARKING LIGHT OUTPUT: This wire will connect to the signal wire that supply's the power to the parking/marker lamps.. this wire can found in the connector behind the headlight switch, you should use a "test light" or a "volt meter" to determine what wire it actually is.. this wire will receive voltage when the headlamp switch is in the "park" position.. If this is too much trouble than connect the wire to the nearest marker/parking lamp voltage supply wire.. this is used to flash the marker lamps when the keyless entry system is activated/de-activated..
