Type R LSD
I have a few questions. I have a B 16 Hydro S4C tranny and I want to put a type R LSD i've been trying to figure out if I can use a U.S. type R LSD with a U.S. type R Final drive gear which is 4.40 without having to change an input shaft or anything else. Basicically is it a straight swap?
Also, is the JDM LSD the same as the U.S. ITR LSD? If they are the same can I just put the U.S. final drive gear which is 4.40?

Re: Type R LSD (GReddy SI)
You need B16 bearings and you will have to grind out a small bit a metal from the tranny casing. When I did it I used JDM diff, a GSR ring gear, and Del sol bearings. There is a little baffle thing on the casing that needs to be removed. Makes driving so much better, totally great improvement. The VSS drive gear is differant also, make sure it comes with one.

Its under where the diff sits, when you take it out there are a couple of them. Youll have to set the diff in to figure it out.
