Turbo HP limits for z6 head?
I'm just curious what people are topping out at on a non-ported/polished head.
I'm going to be doing my HG and ARP studs on my z6 soon... if the head needs to be decked I'm prob just going to send it out and maybe get valves and guides while it's out.
Curious what experiences folks on here have had with P/P on the Z6 head.
I'm almost definately going Turbo in the spring time...
Car Info:
93 Civic Ex Coupe
D16z6 208k miles
Fidanza LWFW/Exedy Clutch
I/H/HF-Cat/E
And Crane/Zex 59300 cam, springs, and skunk 2 retainers are going in shortly after the HG if not at the same time.

actually you were talking out of your @ss. If you go to FI, you will see a thread on d16 turbo setups. almost all of them that have stock bottoms are over 200hp.
What does DD vs Track have to do with the numbers and potential?

Re: Turbo HP limits for z6 head?
Lets keep it friendly guys... lol.
It's a daily driver but it's also my second car so... it's not imperitive it's always up and running...
I'm not shooting for near that much power till I rebuild the bottem end too...
This will be the first time the head is off the block so... milage or not the car is well maintained, and runs pretty damn good forgiving the occaisional sensor going bad.
As long as everything looks on the up and up when I pull the head I'm going to turbo it this spring... Just a simple JYD setup with chrome or uberdata for management... nothing more than 7-10psi.
Thanks for the input guys... Looks like I'll just do as little as needed for now till my aspirations get a little more aggressive.
