A boosted head questions..
What would be a better flowing head to use on a d16y7 block.. A d16z6 or d16y8 head..
This is on a d16y7 motor that is boosted and is being built for about 300hp or so..

SEEING THAT IT IS BOOSTED I WOULD SUGGEST THE D16Z6 HEAD BECAUSE THE Y8 HEAD HAS A SWIRL PORT DESIGN AND IT HAS QUENCH PADS AND FOR TURBO THE CHAMBER ON THE Z6 IS BETTER GIVES YOU A LITTLE LESS COMPRESSION THAN Y8 ... ISAY D16Z6 ALL THE WAY!!
