turbo B16 hesitating...
Hey ive got a 95 si coupe with a boosted B16. at first i thought it was only when the engine was cold, but sometimes it jsut happens all the time... as im driving a feel a slight hesitation, and if i get into boost it really hesitates and jerks back and forth a bit... it did this the whole ride home last night (was about 5 degrees celcius) could it just be the cold? at first i thought it was the clutch slipping cause its still teh stock one(new one on the way) but this morning it boosted just fine once it was nice and warm...

what kind of mods do you have or is it just a bolt on turbo to a stock motor? Maybe your timing is off or you are detonating? Check your spark plugs maybe they are fouled. Don't really know till you give more details.

what are you tuning with?
what are you pulling for timing as you get into boost?
Sounds like you have enough fuel, sounds like a timing problem. But not 100% sure..
i guess well start with your tune! post that up if you even know what it is.

Re: (steinbacheg6)
that is prolly the best idea ive heard all day.
Which leads me to think its a tune issue.
good luck on getting it fixed, report back when you get it running right again and tell us what went wrong.

If the tuning issue doesn't work, do you have a fuel pressure gauge? A couple friends of mine had trouble with the B&M command flow FPR not working properly so maybe check that out too.
