tryin to install univeral tachometer

Re: tryin to install univeral tachometer (Steven Poljak)
I don't know what color your wires are, but my autometer has GREEN RED BLACK WHITE.
Green: Connects to the bold blue wire on your dist.
White: Dimmer or you can wire it straight into your lights.
Red: Key on Power Source(I forget which fuse I used but it was much easier this way. Drivers Side Dash Fusebox...someone else may know which fuse exactly)
Black: Ground
Make sure you are doing this correctly. Don't just shave-twist-and electrical tape the connections together. Soder(bad spelling yes) them, then tape it up properly or else you'll most likely get inaccurate readings.

Dist is the distributor correct- Get a nice set of strippers or scotch clamps and tee in - If you strip, make sure to solder dont half *** it tape everything up properly
lights- check out a manual for which wire to cut- usualy near light switch im assuming
for 12volt the easiest would be finding a fuse and just pigybacking off it
ground- dont groudn to battery ground to a metal point on the vehicle
Id recomend having a freind do it for you with him showing you how
