Tranny Question which one??

Icon2 Tranny Question which one??

so starting to put money into my 4door 94 honda civic ex.. gotta d16z6 in her but the transmission grinds on 3rd and 4th gear on high rpms.. did some research and most peeps say its the synchro bearing but most jus say to replace the whole thing. which makes since.. so just wandering what i can and should i put into her.. let me know i would appreciate

you can put any 92-00 manual transmission in it. I'd still use the Z6 transmission or the one from a 96-00 EX.

If it's in your budget, a remanufactured transmission will be best. The grind is probably from worn synchros and a 3rd sleeve. Hi-Performance carbon synchros will help with the high RPM shifts.
