TPS SENSOR CODE! NOT THE SENSOR.. LIL HELP
Ok i had a d15b7 in the car with the p05 ecu and d15b7 harness.. the TPS sensor code kept throwin, but its only at random times.. just goin down the road and i wont be able to give it any gas or i wont be able to go over a certain rpm before i have to shift or it just bogs down if i try to give it gas. Now i have swapped a d16z6 and left that harness and ecu since it can run the motor. Completely different sensor problem still happens. Is it just the harness or ecu?? Cuz i know the guy before me didnt have this problem.. or is there somewhere else i should check before buying that.

Wouldn't hurt trying to reset the ecu, or trying another one altogether if you can. You don't happen to have the z6 ecu, do you? P28 I think it is.

OBD1 ecu's do not store codes...im 90% sure of that. Anyway, the tps has nothing to do with the rotor in the distributor.
It sounds like bad wiring, check all of the pins through the harness...check at the sensor, check where the engine and car harnesses meet, check where the ecu plugs in
