Tired of this, I gotta ask a question.
Ok i have a 95 civic dx coupe with a 95 gsr motor swap. We used the stock mounts. My valvecover hits my hood in 2 places right on the bottom right orner. I dont know of anyone else that has had this problem, Why is it happening to me? . I just dont get it. Can i just put washer or spacers in between the mount and nut to lower the engine a 1/4 of an inch or so? I might need a little more. I dont want to buya mount kit cause i know its not needed. Thanks.

nah my friend dropped a b16 into his 94 civic coupe and he has the same problem, i'm pretty sure some washers or spacers or something might give it that little extra room it needs to fit...

i have heard that b18c in a 92-95 civic using stock honda mounts will have hood clearance problems. all the ones i have seen using stock honda mounts have had the inner ribbing cut away where it would hit the valve cover. i have a b16 in my 92 hatch using the hasport mounts and the hood doesn't even come close to the valve cover. i would suggest that you either change the mounts or cut the ribbing on your hood.

if you use the right mounts, b-series for example then it would fit fine, thats the problem, dont do micky mouse work cuz it will cost you alot more in the long run. 75 for mounts then or 300 for a new hood now????

look at that diagram and i am guessing you are missing either the front left or right one, or both. ive seen dents in quite a few cars that didnt use em, i dont know why they didnt either.

You are supposed to use both civic and teg mounts.. I think you need the rear integra mount, and the integra tranny mount. I think you will be alright with using civic mounts for the rest.. I'm not positive though, so don't quote me on that.
