Timing belt question

Default Timing belt question

k i got a gsr with b16 head

i TDC the crank and the 2 gears slap on the belt

do i have to pull up on the tensioner spring as im tightening the tensioner? or should i leave it alone?

I don't know what you mean by "2 gears slap on the belt," but yes, I always pull up on the tensioner with a coathanger or something when I'm torquing it down
