Default For those of you who arent running AC...

I was just curious if you kept the AC bracket on the car for the mount. When my swap goes in, im stripping all the AC crap out. Is it safe to remove the AC bracket or should i keep that huge piece of metal in for the sake of the 1 engine mount?

It doesnt seem to be weight bearing but....

Thanks for any help,

-Nick-

It's one of the mounts, and you can buy an Energy bushing to put there.

i know it's one of the mounts, ive just seen people run without it for weight savings. How much does it cost to get ES replacements for all 5 mounts?

Three of the bushings came in a package. The front two, and the one in back (i think). ~$28
You really saw someone not use that mount. I think its a torque mount for the twisting motion. That doesn't seem like a good idea. Lose weight from further forward instead.

i still have mine in, yes its a mount, hehe, has anyone thought of grinding off some of the extra material off, like where the bolt holes are to attatch the compressor? i thought about it but i dont know if it would affect the rest of the mount? i also thought of buying the jdm bracket that is aluminum, but its just too expensive for me
