this is really a newb question but i was wondering if its a bad thing to remove the ac mounting bracket that says p54 on it .... from the car completely... the one with the rubber mount on it ????

I really need to knwo cuz i just took the ac out and i took it off and i dunno if it should just put it back on or not ??? someone let me know thanks

You are referring to the ac mount right? yeah keep it on, if your worrying about a few lbs check out the aluminum type-r mount, I think you can get them from inline4

Do not remove unless you got aftermarket mounts, like hasport or something. Your engine will hop all over the place, you will break axles, and get alot of wheelhop.

I have hasport mounts and have the ac mounts removed and the engine doesn't move at all. It will be fine as long as you have some decent mounts.

welp im not sure what kinda mounts they are ... a friend gave them to me when he helped me with the swap a while back .... he got the ls for me as a bday gift .... so yeah ... ne ways ... im hopeing thing will go good with this car.......... also another question ... .. a bolt on my drivers side mount snapped in half how do i replace this ... ???
