it is a bitch. try to get another connector and practice on it. the connector comes apart like two little doors on the back, then you have to unclip the actual metal pin from inside the connector. it is easier on some connectors than others. try to find a junk connector to practice on, or else you are going to end up in trouble. buy a small pick set or dental picks and probe it from both sides to unclip the pin.

you can get a set of pick tools. sears might have them, i have no idea. they are like very thin screwdrivers with sharp points. get in the back of the connector after you have opened it's little clip doors up, and probe in there. the pin clips in using a part of the pin that is bent out at an angle. It's basically wedged in there, and you have to compress the clip and it's flare piece back together to get it out. it's hard to explain, i'm sorry. see if you can get a flashlight and see behind it or in front of it and get an idea, or, go to the grinder and cut one of your spare connectors apart so you can see what the pin assembly looks like before you start probing one that matters on your real harness.

hope this helps comrade
