Suggestions on turbos that let me keep a/c?
So, I have a 2000 honda civic si with the stock b16a2 and I was wondering what brands of turbochargers have models that let you keep the a/c in your car, or have a/c kits your can buy (mine just died so i've gotta replace it regardless). Are there some off-brands that are better then the big ones, or which ones are more reliable without being crazy expensive? I tried googling but all i get is a bunch of kits that don't tell me crap about the a/c. Just a side note, it's going to be a daily driver, so nothing too unreliable, and I'm shooting for the 350 hp range. I'd like to keep it kinda budget friendly, but if theres one really worth the money then let me know about that one too!

It's not the turbo. It's the turbo manifold that is A/C compatible. They will usually say if they are A/C compatible or not. If they don't say they are chances are that they are NOT. Don't by cheap Ebay crap to try and save a buck. If you don't plan on doing it right then don't do it.
Also, boost is not cheap. There is no such thing as a budget friendly turbo build when it is done right. This includes the engine management and the tune, not to mention an upgraded clutch. B-series will probably be even more expensive.
Other than that you have a lot more research to do. Don't expect spoon fed answers on this. Nor should you listen to anyone that will try to spoon feed it to you as they will actually NOT be helping you.
Go to the Forced Induction forum here on H-T and read the FAQ. Then go to the build threads and look at what other people are running. Not many decide to retain A/C.
