Default Stock b16a2 + 35 dry shot = ??? (Help)

I'm thinking about snagging one of those complete used nitrous setups for like $300 or so and want to know what else I need to do to run a 30-35 dry shot. My engine mods are an AEM CAI, DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, Custom Exhaust, NGK sparkplug wires, and a B&M FPR & Gauge, all on a b16a2. Can I get away with such a small shot of nitrous without a hondata or a vafc? Can I just run a little rich when I know im going to be spraying? Thanks.

i think you can run that with your engine just fine... then again, i'm not into FI so I'm not 100% sure in what I say bout stuff like that. But should be fine, heard of some guys running around here with more shot than that w/ minimal mods.

Will the FPR & Gauge be enough for me to tune it rich?

um, 30-35 shot you shouldnt even bother... its really not going to do much, and you wont really need any guages because you wont be putting the motor in a position to where it could be running too lean or rich.

Why wouldnt it be doing much? I figured I would gain 20 or so whp with that kinda shot.. thats all i really want for right now, just a quick hp fix for cheap until i can finish saving up for my turbo. Its only $300 + fill ups, which is a lot cheaper then my exhaust which probably only gave me 5whp. Should I raise it to a 40 or 50 shot?

You might want some colder plugs but thats it. My buddy has a 50 shot with i/h/e and he is fine. Just make sure everything is good and running fine. Other than that you should be ok.

He doesn't need a new fuel pump and injectors to run a 35-40 dry shot... The V-afc isnt a bad idea, but I think you can get away without it...

ugh..
i guess ill help out since there hasnt been much useful informaiton in this thread.

yes a 35shot will be ok, you dont even need a FPR or gauge or anything.

i would run a 55shot. it wont damage anything and with a FPR and retarded ignition timing it will be safe.

oh dry i would at least get colder plug and retard timing about 1-2 degrees, for 35-55 shot
now if its wet i would run 55 with just colder plugs no problem. ive done this on a few of my cars
I.E- 96 hatch stock DX motor, CAI , EX header and catback 50 shot wet NX kit, no plugs no retard of timing - no problems.
94 coupe with jdm b16 with like 2 degree advance i ran the same kit no problems
94 hatch with h22a i ran 50 dry with just colder plugs no probelms- stock timing
