Default Stock b16a2 + 35 dry shot = ???

I'm thinking about snagging one of those complete used nitrous setups for like $300 or so and want to know what else I need to do to run a 30-35 dry shot. My engine mods are an AEM CAI, DC Sports 4-2-1 Header, Custom Exhaust, NGK sparkplug wires, and a B&M FPR & Gauge, all on a b16a2. Can I get away with such a small shot of nitrous without a hondata or a vafc? Can I just run a little rich when I know im going to be spraying? Thanks.

i think you will be fine with such a small shot. Which kind of kit are you picking up? Dry or wet? Company? Since you already have a FPR, everything seems ok. But i am no expert in the Nitorous section though.

if you get a ZEX kit, u will be good because it doesn't let you engage until at least %80 throttle if I remember correctly i ran ZEX for over a year and sprayed a 75shot on stock internals, no prob.

Im hoping to either get a NX kit or a ZEX kit (dry shot).. if I end up with a 55 shot or something, will colder sparkplugs and my B&M FPR and Gauge be enough to tune this thing safely until I get my engine management? Can I use my stock injectors and fuel pump? Should I retard my ignition timing 1 degree just to be safe and will that effect my daily driving when im not on the bottle? How much whp would I see from a 55 shot? Thanks.

Haha, I agree with LSiTurbo.. I'd recommend a Zex 55shot. Zex rates its 'shot numbers' at the crank so it will probably end up only being a 35-40 shot. As long as you get colder sparkplugs, I dont even think you will need to use the FPR. The Zex systems run fine with the stock fuel pump and injectors, though i'd recommend cleaning them when you install the system. Their website will tell you everything you need to know.
