Default Is this smart

I dont have comprehensive insurance and my buddy wants to go to Atlantic City and park my car in the parking garage. I say its gonna get stolen or the possiblility is too high for me to want to go. He says there are cameras and nohtings gonna happen.

Do parking garage cameras do anytthing?
IS this worth the risk?

I hate driving a honda for this reason

You should follow what your guts tell you. Personally, I wouldn't do it. If your car gets stolen, the only problem your friend will have is the ride home.

Its a chance that only you can decide if its worth it or not. Chances are with camera's nothing will happen and if it does you can see who did it to your car but that will be about it unless the local cops are motavated enough to look for them or know them already assuming there not smart enough to use masks or something. I dont own a car without full coverage on it for just that reason.

He says remove allthe fuses when we go and then nothing will happen? Would that work?

Also when i called my insurance company... They wouldnt cover the motor, or tranny which is the biggest part of the car. And the money it would be to have full coverage would be more then what they would give me if my car didnt get stolen for a year.

people these days dont care about cameras, they will steal anything, anytime, anywhere, but anyway you need to get full insurance its never hurts and its worth it if you have any kind of money tied into your car.

taking the fuse out will work as long as that if someone wants to steal your car doesnt have a tow truck.

Yeah, if you have a bad feeling then you're better off not taking the chance. I think renting a car is a great idea.

Just leave the car at my house. I'll install a security system on it and if you can get it out of my driveway without getting an *** full of rock salt, you'll be free to drive it home in one piece.
