So about four weeks ago a buddy of mine was selling his motor and i got the Intake Manifold off him for cheap. Once done installin all clamps, hoses, gaskets, ect.... changed. Upon start up it revs to 4k then does a hunting idle between 1500-2500 rpms. Had 3 codes one for tps, then map, finally iatv. After fixing all those with new sensors 3 more codes threw iacv,knock sensor ,and another i fixed the latter of the 3 but i just sprayed out the iacv and reinstalled. only code i have now is CEL 14 or iacv i tried about all i can even switched back to stock and it did the same thing now with the original manifold could it be timing or something im missing any help would be vastly helpful. Oh and it is a 2000 ex model with obd2 but i still use the 2 wire plug on ecu to pull codes to cheap to buy code reader (ಠ. .ಠ)

Were all the codes originally thrown because you had several sensor connectors mixed up?

Take the car to an auto parts to have the OBD2 code pulled with a code reader. You'll get more information from the OBD2 code.

What year/trim/engine Civic was the donor for the IM?

I originally took it there to clear all the codes and no they threw when all connections were correct i am a bit meticulous with wires and sensors. When i cleared all the codes the next morning on the way to class 2 came back the 14 and 23 i replaced the KS(23) that broke off during install and that code vanished so i guess i will go to auto care place tomorrow and scan again. Only code is 14 but maybe the code scanner can help, the donor car was an 94 eg with a full built d16z? close to those spec at least. oh well thnx for advice ron will post up with results off scanner in the afternoon.

its prob your vacuum lines, it is possible that you put em on wrong... try to get a vacuum diagrram

SSSOoooo it has been several months ince updates i was in the process of moving and joining the navy problem wasnt completely solved. But its got to a piont where it was sustainable. Only code was P505 EVAP system.
