Shortshifter..
My friend's going to be purchasing a shortshifter soon, unfortunately I don't know **** about them and he don't either. LOL. Anyways, another friend of mine advised him to get a B&M or a Skunk2 shortshifter. Anybody have any reviews or comments ? Suggestions on which to get, perhaps ? Also, should he get a single band or dual band ? It's a stock EM1 with just i/h/e.

Can't offer any advice on what to get, I'm still using OEM (Del Sol has short enough throws that people who haven't driven one before think it's not OEM)...
Dual-bend vs. Single-bend depends on where you want the shift **** to be located as you move it through the gates. Single bend puts the **** angled back, double bend puts it more upright. But since the shifter moves through a smaller arc it doesn't angle forward/back as much overall, though double-bend may angle forward farther than OEM when in 1 & 3. Depends on the short shifter, depends on the OEM shifter.

I know EVERY ONE is going to knock it, but I am running an OBX short shifter. its billet alum, single bend and only set me back $15.00 new.
I have been using it for a year now, with out any issues... just sad it's hooked to a stock motor now and not a built one.

Yes try this, but on a side note I had a b&m back in the day when i was into the little hondas. It was a nice shifter and very short throws. Felt really good. I say go with it

I'm using an ebay single bend...I love it! I've had it for about 6 months now with no problems. It vibrates against my exhaust, but that's because my exhaust is custom...not a stock or bolt on system

I'm using the Skunk2 Dual Bend.
Put it on and forgot about it... until I hopped into a friends car and missed every shift because I was throwing too short.
