I installed a short shifter in my car, and i don't know why its like this but everytime i shift to first it seems like it wont let me, I have to force it in at times and iam not evn moving yet, is there a reason for this, If you had the same problem what did you do to solve the problem, Thanks very much

Re: Short shifter (skater5067)
what short shifter are you using, what exhaust, what car?
short shifters normally work by extending below (usally ~1") the normal pivot point. it'll reduce your shift throw (front to back) but increase distance sideways (left to right)
