Default Rear brake conversion, cost & suspension compatibility?

I'm going to do a rear brake conversion on my EJ8 but I was just wondering how much would the parts cost(I do labor myself)? I've seen sets of rear brakes from teggy's for $120-200, but I really don't know how much they cost. Should I just get them from junkyards? Also, if I do a conversion, do I have to worry about any suspension compatibility? I'm going to get some Progress CS-II.

Quick question: Any size difference between GSR and LS/GS brake size? I can't afford ITR stuff so that's out of the quesiton.

Check Ebay, Craigslist or the Marketplace. Conversions being sold there all the time.

my 2000 civic ex(no abs) had rear drums. Now it has full disc brakes.

You need to buy the entire trailing arm/hub assembly from a car with disc brakes. Obviously one from a 99/00 Si would work and I think even those same parts were used on older civics with rear discs.

You also need the 99/00 Si handbrake cable. I believe the stock cable is too short. This was my only problem after the install, no handbrake until the right length cable came in.

Don't forget the to get a 99/00 Si brake proportioning valve

I also bought some brembo drilled rotors and duralast gold pads(no brake dust issues and they're quiet, also free replacements for life) and bought some stainless steel brake lines from edelbrock.

-Rear trailing arm pair was around $200-$250(used from ebay)
-SS brake line was $100(new from ebay)
-Brembo rotors were $100 a pair(new from ebay, watch out for counterfeits, real one's should not be cheaper than this)
-Proportioning valve was around $50(used from ebay)

I forget how much the brake cable was, I think I ordered one from Honda.

So basically I need to source parts from the EM1 and Integra...

I don't think I can find cheap Si parts, so I'm going to go with mainly teggy if possible (trailing arm, rotor, calipers). As for the proportioning valve & brake cable, I'm pretty sure I gotta go with the Si because of different brake line angle (unless it's the same as non-ABS Integras?). The new parts I can go with are rotors, brake lines, & pads. Is there really a benefit with new lines? It seems pretty pricey for just some lines.
