question about block guards
just a question about block guards, do they have to be installed by a machine shop or can i put it in myself while i am building my block together? also is it ok to use a block gaurd in a N/A motor? will it harm anything since im not going turbo at the moment? i just want to be safe than sorry and since i have the block apart i figured what the hell. what is a good company to get one from or does it matter?
thanx for the help

I would only recommend a block guard if your going stock block and turbo with high PSI. I believe Eagle makes some high quailty guards.

Re: question about block guards (nextelbuddy)
when u tap the block guard in the block, do u have to weld it in? or can u just tap it in? if tapping it in without welding, will the vibration from the motor make it pop out or move out of place?
