make sure that u have some tires that grab pretty good. if so launch pretty high ike around 5-6k. with a setup like that since you arent making that much power u can jus launch and fully dump the clutch. then try not to let your rpm's drop. then after that... shift like a ****

it'll depend on your setup. from those mods you have, it's much like my old d16z6 when i used to have it. i rev 5-6k rpms on the launch because my clutch was pretty bad and my rpm dropped a little. don't let your rpm drop too much or else you won't have a good launch.

try practicing some launches somewhere open, get the feel of how high rpm you should launch at, then you can see how.

in my D16Z6, i have exhaust/header/short throw shifter. I launch right around 5k, usually never below. If i don't feather the clutch out just a little bit i get some tire spin but nothing too bad. just practice and you'll be fine.

Lower your tire pressure to about 20-22 psi. I did that, and launched at about 4,000 - 4,500 rpm and pulled like a 2.32 60'. Ended up running a 15.908@84.xx mph in a stock D16Z6 motor EX Coupe.

**** i used to have the best write up for beginers....!!!

I can tell you not to go all out your very first time... just get a feel for things... and make sure you make the turn off... know where that turn off is... and dont ever crose into somones turn off... if theres only one turn off let the person on the side of it go first...

just use common sence and be safe...

He'll be looking at more like 16-17+ if not slower... with all that stereo and body kit stuff.

BTW: isn't that the car from the audio shop in exton?

I love beating gay looking civic's like yours at the track with my 92 turbo 4 door LX. Should have put the money into the engine not the stunna paint job and body kit.
