Re: PRIMARY SENSOR 41 (hatch96y7)
What kind of O2 are you using? A universal type? The arrangement of the heater wires isn't really important as long as they are connected to a heater wire signal. I've had the same issue. I still have a code 41 even after trying 2 different O2 sensors and rewiring the heck out of them over and over trying to get the CEL off. I'm not sure what's going on and haven't really had the time to diagnose the problem. I'm starting to think maybe its just my ECU, but that's just me. You can try rewiring and switching the heater wires, but from my experience it doesn't make a difference.

the heater does not care which way the current flows through it.
if you have access to a volt meter make sure one side of the heater has 12V on it and the other has ground. (when you first switch on the ignition)
if one of them is missing the ECU will throw this code.
also make sure that there is resistance between the two black wires. (with the plug disconnected)

a6 is heater control
a11 is the switched 12 vpolt
d7 is the o2 signal
and d12 is ground
this is on a 96 gsr ecu in a 96 civic

Re: (Relic1)
the wires that i spliced into that i thought were it werent.
i had a green and black wire that had continuity with the tps sensor.
i dont know what type of harness i have but it was messed with alot i guess
