Default Will car throw code if o2 wired wrong?

Will the ECU throw a CEL if the wires to a 4-wire o2 sensor is wired wrong?

Reason I ask is because the 1993 Civic LX is running like ****, but it doesn't throw a code. I last re-wired the o2 sensor because the wires had gotten burnt on the exhaust (long story, don't ask.)

Yup, if you don't have the signal wire and ground correctly you'll get an oxygen sensor code... Watch the polarity on the heater wires as well.. Peace
