power window issues
Tried searching the threads, couldn't find something that helps (might be out there, just didn't find it). Forgive me if it's covered in another thread, and please... link the thread for me because I can't find it.
93 civic coupe, driver's side automatic window works mostly..... it makes it down about 3/4 of the way and then has trouble. if i don't stop it there the window jumps the track and i have to take the door apart and coax it back onto the track. It also seems to be coming up the rear-side faster than the front side. Tried shooting some lube into the track, no dice. I should also note that it doesn't do it every time.... tends to do it more often when it's cold and rainy.
Was wondering if anyone had a good schematic of how the window assembly works or advice on something I'm missing. My manual is of little help and its hard to see into the door (even with the interior bits taken off). Maybe something in there needs adjustment or replacement?
As a side-note, the window seems to be coming up and resting outside the stripping too. Not sure if this is related, but it bears mentioning.

The regulator might be bent. Has anyone tried breaking in through that window? My gf's car had someone break in and the regulator was bent and the window never rolled up properly after, and would come off the track. If that's not it, there are two 10mm nuts at the bottom of the door that attach to the window channels. You may need to loosen them and go from there.

i have the same problem, replaced the regulators, both doors, always seems to stick so i bought some spray, lubed it up and rolls down n up perfectly. No more stickyness.

Re: power window issues
come to think of it, yeah someone might have tried getting in through there. my car was broken into and $2200 worth of DVD-in-dash, subwoofers, and amps were stolen. They broke through the rear-drivers-side window but it's conceivable that they might have tried wrenching the window open. Totally off-topic, the door was unlocked at the time and it was not necessary to beat the crap out of my poor little civic nor was it necessary to cut every wire under the dash to remove the stereo. Anyhow, I'll look into replacing that regulator.
